MILFORD, Conn. – Thinklogical LLC, a global manufacturer of secure fiber optic video and KVM routing and extension systems, announced today that retired Gen. Norton A. Schwartz, former U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff, has joined the Thinklogical Federal Advisory Board.

The mission of the Thinklogical Federal Advisory Board is to deepen the company’s relationships within the government, military, intelligence and homeland security communities and facilitate product innovation through improved communication of customer requirements from these markets.

“The requirement for uncompromised, high-quality video content in defense and intelligence has never been greater, and Thinklogical’s secure and accredited products have been mission-proven as the backbone of command and control centers and other classified applications throughout the U.S. defense infrastructure,” said Schwartz. “I’m excited to be joining the Thinklogical Federal Advisory Board and look forward to helping increase awareness of the benefits of Thinklogical solutions.”

Thinklogical’s fiber optic-based audio, video and peripheral routing systems are used in secure command and control centers (C4ISR) and enable multi-domain isolation and control of key computing resources and their associated networks, while empowering rich collaboration capabilities across authorized functional groups and organizations. The company’s VX Series products are designed and manufactured in the USA and are the only fiber optic-based KVM and video routers accredited to The Common Criteria, EAL4 and TEMPEST.

“We are honored to have a leader of the caliber of Gen. Schwartz joining the Thinklogical Federal Advisory Board,” said Joe Pajer, president and CEO of Thinklogical. “His insight and experience will be invaluable as we expand our presence in the federal government, and I look forward to working closely with him and the other Advisory Board members as we develop new product innovations to address the critical customer needs of this important marketplace.”

With his appointment, Schwartz joins current Thinklogical Federal Advisory Board members Arthur L. Money, Chairman of the United States National Security Agency (NSA) Technology Advisory Board and Peter Marino, Chairman of the United States National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Advisory Group.
