First to Deliver Extension and Switching of Computer Peripherals and Uncompressed 4K Video (4096 x 2160 Resolution, 4:4:4 Color Depth) at 60Hz Using Only Two Cables; Second Best of Show Award in 2015
MILFORD, Conn. – July 1, 2015 — Thinklogical, a global manufacturer of secure, high performance extension and matrix switching systems for video-rich application environments, announced today that its new TLX Series is the recipient of one of the industry’s most prestigious technology honors, the InfoComm 2015 “Best of Show” award, presented by Government Video Magazine.
This is the second major award for TLX in 2015. In April it received the “Best of Show” Award presented by Sound & Video Contractor Magazine at the NAB Show in Las Vegas.
“Audiovisual gear gets better every year, so it takes something special to qualify for Government Video’s Best of Show award at InfoComm 2015,” said Bob Kovacs, editor, Government Video Magazine. “We looked at all the nominees carefully and were especially impressed with the performance, value and usability demonstrated by all the winners. These are products ready to make their marks in presentations, control centers, conference rooms and classrooms.”
TLX from Thinklogical is the first solution in the market capable of delivering extension and switching of computer peripherals and full resolution, full color depth, uncompressed, 4K video (4096 x 2160 resolution, 4:4:4 color depth) at 60Hz frame rate using only two cables. TLX gives customers industry-leading 10Gbps performance and a flexible and efficient uncompressed signal architecture supporting both fiber-optic and CATx connectivity. This reduces the cost and infrastructure required to manage and distribute content created in the growing 4K industry standard without compromising signal quality, resolution or system performance.
“The ability to extend and switch true 4K video at the highest resolution and color depth possible without the latency created by signal compression is a necessity for video-rich applications in multiple industries,” said Thinklogical President and CEO Joe Pajer. “Only TLX can deliver on these demanding customer requirements today, with an uncompressed, high-bandwidth architecture that competitive solutions can’t match. We’re honored to be recognized by Government Video Magazine for the advancement TLX represents to the audio-visual and information technology markets.”
