Remote Update and Recertification (Hands-On, Virtual/Remote, Instructor Led) | 6 hours over 2 days
Tech 200 and 300 have a certification window of 2 years due to the inherent continuously improving nature of Thinklogical system interfaces. In order to maintain certification, there are 2 choices. You can either sign up for another complementary training event with the latest training curriculum OR register for our Remote Update and Recertification course. This remote recertification course is held online (via TEAMS) over the course of 2 afternoons (3 hour sessions each day). Each attendee will have access to their own SMP Appliance remotely and will be given access throughout the week of this course. All updates to the curriculum since your original certification will be covered and an additional 2 years certification will be provided. (Original Training Certificate ID required)
NEW!! Latest SMP Features and Implications (Virtual/Remote, Instructor Led) | 3 Hours
This is an interactive virtual event covering the Latest SMP Features and Implications. This event is targeted to those interested in learning and leveraging the latest SMP functionality. The goal of this event is to provide a safe conduit to distribute the latest SMP versions to interested parties while disclosing potential implications in a transparent and productive manner. This event will take place through TEAMS during one afternoon from 1:00 PM (1300) through 4:00PM (1600). Upon successful registration, the Thinklogical Training Team will reach out to confirm the details of your registration. To keep event sizes manageable, there is a limit of up to 10 attendees per registration per event. It is recommended that all proactive Thinklogical Designers, Integrators, Maintainers, and Project Managers attend this every 6 months.
Thinklogical Technology Training Schedule
Online Training:
Thinklogical has several online and remote training options. To start Tech 100 is an on-demand completely online training course. This course is worth 6 RU credits through AVIXA and covers signals extended through Thinklogical extenders as well as serves as an introduction to extension technology in general.
There are also several remote training options for those who have already completed the in-person Tech 200 and 300 training courses. There is a Remote Recertification option for those nearing the lapse of their Tech 200 and 300 certification. This is a hands-on, remote, instructor-led course covering all aspects of the Thinklogical system that have possibly evolved since you were certified. Those who have been trained between 18 and 36 months prior are eligible to attend for another 2 years of certification.
Finally, there is a non-accredited remote service called Latest SMP Features and Implications. This is a hands-on, remote, instructor-led event going over the latest SMP features and the system implications if you were to update to the latest released version. This serves as a pathway to access the latest SMP software while providing necessary insight for those desiring to update their SMP appliance control system.
In-Person Complementary Training:
Thinklogical offers Complementary Training Events each month, typically alternating between 2 locations, Milford Connecticut and Vienna Virginia. These are 3-day training events offering both Tech 200 and Tech 300 with open registration to all interested parties. You are responsible for your own travel and expenses, but everything regarding these training events will be included. More information regarding these events can be found below.
Exclusive Complementary Training:
We understand that this schedule may not fit for everyone. During available off-weeks, we will host exclusive training events for parties of 3 or more at your location of choice between Milford Connecticut or Vienna Virginia. To schedule an exclusive training event, please reach out to training@thinklogical.com.
On-Site Training Events:
We also understand that it can get expensive to send your entire team out to our locations. As a more economical option, we have started offering "on-site" training events for larger interested groups during available off-weeks. These training events would be held at your location (or nearby location if necessary), but are not complementary. For "on-site" training event, you will be responsible for the training location, round-trip shipping of the training hardware, instructor T&E, and a training fee for each day of actual training. We will ssend an estimate for your event and the event is confirmed upon receipt of a PO from your team. Upon completion of the event and return reception of the training hardware, actual costs will be submitted. If you are interested in an on-site training event, please reach out to training@thinklogical.com.
